Only way to quickly learn!!  This business has quickly grown in 12 months to 26 properties to cover holiday makers year round in Beachport. With a competent cleaning/ housekeeping team and professional booking system its become a well run small business enterprise.

The Green Room 2.0

An exciting totally left field challenge presented itself in July 2023. Born out of a desire to keep a Fish n Chip takeaway business going for the Beachport town and community. Certainly satisfied my dream of ticking off owning a cafe/restaurant business. Thankful for a skilled manager in Tamara Grapendaal to run the day to day operational side. Indeed very happy with the trade and going into summer, sure learnt a lot in just over 12 months. SOLD as a successful venture in early November 2024 to new owners Jeremy and Jen James.. All the best guys to keep Beachport and tourists well fed!

The Central Hub Market Co-Op

The Central Hub Market Co-operative will aim to provide Millicent and surrounds with a fresh, flexible and innovative community market atmosphere, in compliment with creating a weekend tourist environment and the opportunity to display and sell goods, products and services. Born out of a need to fill a large empty store in the middle of George street the concept quickly spread to invite people to either hold a stall site for a weekend market and also run a local produce trade site which promotes local craft and food producers.
